Both Lake George and Lake Champlain offer championship fishing and our area boasts of many bass tournaments throughout the season.

Lake George and Hague boat ramp is only a few minutes south on route 9N and a good place to launch your fishing boat. Ticonderoga's Mossy Point boat ramp on Lake George is only 4 miles away. Lake Champlain and the ramp at Fort Ticonderoga is only about five miles away, making Brookwood RV Resort the perfect destination for your next fishing trip.

You may be coming to our area to go fishing in one of the many Lake Champlain bass tournaments held here or you may just want to go to a great place to do some family fishing. Whatever your reason the Hague-Ticonderoga area and Brookwood RV Resort is an excellent choice.

Brookwood RV Resort welcomes bass fishermen and offers large spacious sites, camping cabins and plenty of room to park your boat and trailer. If you prefer a Ticonderoga Hotel or Motel try our new Best Western Ticonderoga Inn and Suites We welcome fishermen there too. If you don't have your own boat you can rent a canoe right here at Brookwood.

After a day's fishing it's great to just kick back around the campfire and swap stories about that lunker Bass or Lake Trout that got away. (Funny how the stories about the size of the one that got away seems always bigger than any we've ever landed isn't it?)

Bass fishing in Lake George and Lake Champlain is excellent, but it isn't the only type of fish you can catch. So if it's another type of fishing you prefer, Lake Trout, Landlocked Salmon, Northern Pike, Chain Pickerel, Yellow Perch and a variety of pan fish are available in both lakes. In addition Lake Champlain has Muskellunge, Walleye, Smelt and Steelhead Trout.
